Cowboys star Micah Parsons is embroiled in controversy weeks before the 2024 NFL season begins. Parsons' teammate Malik Hooker criticized the linebacker for his lack of focus on the team.

Parsons took to Twitter to call out Hooker for his statement, ultimately deleting his response. Fans, however, had already circulated the deleted screenshot on social media.

That being said, most fans were frustrated with Parsons, some even agreeing with Hooker. As per a few Cowboys fans, the team's drama had begun way before the NFL season did.

"Micah will never be a true leader smh. Crying out loud here," one fan wrote.

Others pointed out how the team had chemistry problems even ahead of the preseason.

"Chemistry issues before the season even start? That podcast after Saquon go for 150 on the ground gone be a movie," a user wrote.
"Micah really dont do shi* but cry and live in a world of delusion. He 1000% did everything them penn state documents said he did," another fan mentioned.

One user even noted that it's 'weak' to call out another teammate on social media.

"The game has changed man, going at another teammate on social media is weak," the fan wrote.

Some fans, however, hoped he would come play for their team if he wanted to.

"Aye Micah If you wanna do podcasts come to the Commanders Brodie. We cool with it".
"Micah definitely a p.a boy bro wasted no time," another user said.
"Parsons gon be gone soon..hooker a hoe for that," a fan predicted.

Parsons has yet to comment on the deleted tweet.

What did Micah Parsons say in response to Malik Hooker's tweet?

Malik Hooker, who is also Micah Parsons' locker mate, stated that a linebacker should focus more on the Dallas Cowboys and less on his team.

“My advice for Micah would be to just make sure we’re all right,” Hooker said on Keyshawn Johnson’s podcast. “Because if we’re at work and the run game’s terrible, but you’re doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible, then what are you really caring about?
"Are you caring about the crowd that was watching the podcast or are you caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach?”

Parsons defended himself on Twitter, wondering why Hooker didn't voice his concerns to him directly.

"Just wish you said this to me but instead on some podcast! And you got my number family! @MalikHooker24 and you my locker mate! So you coulda said this any day!
"And you do realize I shoot the podcast on our off day! I why ain't we talking about everyone preparations and focus leading up to the game week? I mean I can point out a lot of other things but I'm just not!"

This is not a good sign, especially for a team like the Dallas Cowboys, who need all the chemistry to finally lift the Lombardi.
