The NFL Combine takes place every year after the Super Bowl. This is nearly a week-long event taking place toward the end of February and the beginning of March. The NFL Combine is held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine will take place in Indianapolis from February 24 to March 3, with 329 prospects invited. Fans can watch live coverage starting February 27 on NFL Network and NFL+.
At the Combine, players from all positions are invited to take part in various tests and drills as well as being interviewed and interact with scouts, coaches, general managers, and team owners. Each position group has physical drills that they take part in and every individual is graded as per his performance in each drill and ranked accordingly.
What are the good NFL Combine Grades?
According to the current NFL Draft grading system, a perfect 8.0 score represents the ideal prospect. However, no player has ever achieved it. Players who receive a grade of 6.0 or higher at the NFL Combine are generally considered to have good draft grades. Most top prospects fall between 6.0 and 6.7, meaning they range from having the traits of an above-average backup to a Year 1 starter.
