Michael Lance Lynn is an American professional baseball player in Major League Baseball. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 12, 1987. Lance plays the position of a pitcher in MLB. He was part of the United States team in the World Baseball Classics tournaments twice - in 2007 and 2023.
Lance used to play for the Ole Miss Rebels team during his college days before he debuted in MLB. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2008 MLB draft, where he was the 29th overall pick. Other teams he has played with include the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Chicago White Sox. Currently, he is playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lance Lynn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 12, 1987. His parents are Jenny and Mike Lynn. He also has a younger brother. Lynn attended Brownsburg High School and played in the Little Leagues. He also used to play baseball in high school. In 1999, he was part of the team that appeared in the Little Leagues World Series. Even during high school, he was a very talented player and was awarded All-State honors during his junior and sophomore years. He attended high school with fellow MLB player Drew Storen. At the time, his batting average was .509, his RBI was 46 and he had a total number of 14 home runs. He was also the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005 and was named an All-Star by Nike.
