Tank Ledger’s Early Football Career
Tank Ledger had an impressive football career, beginning at Montini Catholic, where he became the first sophomore in school history to serve as captain. He led his team to three state finals, including a victory in the 2015 championship as per his college profile. Ledger's individual accolades include being named the 2016 Chicago Catholic League Defensive Player of the Year, earning All-State honors twice, and being recognized as an Esmark High School All-American. Academically, he excelled as well, becoming a member of the National Honor Society and a two-time Academic All-State honoree.

He made his debut on NXT Level Up on October 11, 2022, teaming with Ikemen Jiro to face Duke Hudson and Bryson Montana, though the match ended in defeat. In his first singles bout, he faced Channing Lorenzo but unfortunately lost again. After experiencing several setbacks in subsequent singles matches, Ledger finally secured his first victory against Cale Dixon on the February 7, 2023, episode of NXT Level Up.
On April 4, 2023, it was announced that Ledger would take on a more prominent role on the main stage of NXT. He faced Joe Coffey on April 11, 2023, but lost the match. Later, he teamed up with Dyad on NXT Level Up, where they also suffered a defeat. On May 9, 2023, Ledger and Hank Walker teamed up to face Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen but were again defeated. After challenging Hank to a match, Ledger lost once more on May 23, 2023, and was attacked by Bron Breaker after the match. However, on May 30, 2023, Ledger and Hank finally secured a victory over Bronco Nima and Lucien Price on NXT Level Up.
Shortly thereafter, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger faced Edris Enofé & Malik Blade, as well as Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, in a Triple Threat match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles. On October 17, 2023, Hank & Tank had another shot at the titles in the Bada Bing Bada Boom Tag Team Battle Royal but fell short once again as Chase U claimed the win. Their struggles continued when they were eliminated in the first round of the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic by Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom).
Following this, the duo went through a rollercoaster of victories and defeats, culminating in a heated rivalry with The OC. The two teams first squared off in a high-stakes #1 Contendership Qualifying match, where Hank & Tank narrowly missed out on the win. During this time, they officially adopted the team name 'Hank & Tank.' Their rivalry with The OC escalated, leading to a climactic showdown on September 24, 2024, where Hank & Tank finally emerged victorious, decisively ending the feud.
