Hank & Tank History
Hank and Tank became a team on April 28, 2023. Almost two years later, on April 15, 2025, they won a tag team gauntlet match on NXT by beating four other teams, including Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, and the No Quarter Catch Crew. That win helped them get a chance to face Fraxiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE Stand & Deliver on April 19, 2025.
Fraxiom had held the titles since September 1, 2024, in their second run as champions. At Stand & Deliver, Hank and Tank challenged them in a match that went 13 minutes and 57 seconds. When it was over, Hank and Tank won and claimed the NXT Tag Team Titles, marking the first title win of their careers and their first as a team.
Hank & Tank Championships
Hank and Tank moved ahead in their WWE journey by winning the NXT Tag Team Championship Eliminator Gauntlet on the April 15, 2025, episode of NXT. They went through four teams in one night - Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont, The Culling’s Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance, No Quarter Catch Crew’s Myles Borne and Tavion Heights, and finally Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. That win gave them a title match against Fraxiom at WWE Stand & Deliver on April 19. At the event, they defeated Fraxiom and won the NXT Tag Team Championship for the first time.
