No, Bruce Willis is not dead. He suffers from a cognitive disease called Aphasia, but the former actor is currently spending time with his family members and is fine.

Bruce Willis is one of the actors who fell prey to the fake death rumor that often goes viral on social media. Actors like Robert Downey Jr, Dwayne Johnson, and musicians Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson are also among some who were claimed to have passed away due to some reasons. In November 2022, a Facebook post claimed that Willis had passed away. The post read, "We announce the sad news of Talented Actor Bruce Willis, along with a tearful farewell."

In no time the post went viral and scared a bunch of fans as Willis suffers from a grave disease and his family had just released a statement about it some while back before the fake post hit the internet. However, later the post was debunked and was just a death hoax curated unnecessarily. The actor is all fine and is currently with his family after retiring from acting.

In March 2022, Bruce Willis' family took to their social media to share the sad news of the actor 'stepping away' from his acting career as he was diagnosed with aphasia. The post was shared by his wife Emma Heming Willis on her Instagram handle.

Her post read, “To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities. As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him. This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, "Live it up" and together we plan to do just that. Love, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn.”
