A Universal Time lets you battle the fiercest warriors from the animanga universes to master powerful new Abilities and become stronger. Traits are among the tools you need to become a force to be reckoned with in combat, particularly when tackling late-game content. These are passive abilities that boost your stats or offer unique effects.
Here’s everything you need to know about Traits, how to get, and where to find them.
How to get Traits in A Universal Time
Leveling up is the most straightforward way of getting Traits. For every 25 levelsyou climb, you will receiveTrait Hands, which can be converted into the Traits of your choice. Additionally, you are guaranteed a Trait drop by completing the Guide NPC’s quest. This quest can only be finished once, but its convenience makes it a great way to obtain your first Trait.
Trending
Traits come in five rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. By default, only Common-, Rare-, and Epic-rarity Traits are unlocked, with the remaining locked behind Ascension levels. At Ascension Level 5, you will unlock the Legendary-rarity Trait pool, while Mythic-rarity Traits require you to be at Ascension Level 10.
Note that Ascension Levels have no effect on the drop rates of these Traits. You will still require dozens of Trait Hand conversions for a chance at the best Traits in the game.
That said, you can reroll your Trait by interacting with the Trait Reroller. For 100 UPoints, you can obtain an Epic or higher rarity Trait, provided you already have a Trait unlocked. With enough UPoints, you can secure a Mythic-rarity Trait to use in battle, making it a convenient way to cut down the Trait Hand grind.
