Its latest update brings it up to version 3.7, introducing new abilities, regions, skins, and more while improving the gameplay experience through bug fixes. This update is the fourth phase of the Summer Update and was added to the game on August 11, 2024.

The newest ability changes and additions to AUT take inspiration from One Piece. The first of these is Gomu Gomu no Mi, the iconic Devil Fruit ability that allows Luffy to switch between gears. Based on the combat situation, you can switch between Gears 1, 2, and 3 at will. You can unlock Gears by completing specific quest lines.

You can also obtain the Legendary Gryphon ability, which was wielded by Shanks in One Piece. Use the Gryphon with one arm and land devastating attacks upon your foes, cleaving through them in just a few strikes.

Lastly, Hito Model: Nika makes its debut in AUT. This ability allows you to tap into Gear 5, being an extension of the aforementioned Gomu Gomu no Mi. You can combine it with the aforementioned Fruit for a synergistic combat style that flows seamlessly from one move to the next.

New Haki System

The Haki System marks the final One Piece-themed system introduction of this update, being a combat-centric ability that improves your fighting capabilities. Currently, you can access three Haki moves: Busoshoku Haki, Ken Haki, and Haoshoku Haki.

Busoshoku Haki enhances your damage and defense, with an extra perk that boosts damage dealt against bosses. Ken Haki lets you perceive nearby NPCs and players’ HP, heat, and stats while receiving a boost to your overall speed and reducing cooldowns.

As for Hao Haki, you can use it as an AoE attack that pushes back all non-party members away from you. Every affected entity enters a knocked-down state, creating an opening for a devastating assault.

Kill Effects, Daily Quest Rework, and more

Kill Effects can now be triggered when reducing an opponent’s HP to zero. These are flashy cinematic effects that can be optionally activated for style points. Use them to finish off a duel in a flashy way, cementing your victory against the opponent.

The Daily Quest system has received a revamp that improves both the quests and the rewards offered by daily missions. You can now receive 400 UShards, 1,000 Ability XP, and 10,000 UCoins. Additionally, you may also get a Mount, a Skin Crate, or a Kill Effect for Daily Quest completion.

Other additions and changes include the following:
