How to play the Melt Off minigame in Adopt Me

The gist of Melt Off is to avoid falling into the water below. You and fellow Robloxians will be placed atop a platform of ice at the beginning of a match. After a brief countdown, the round will start, and the platform tiles will begin to melt. Your objective is to avoid falling by walking or jumping across different ice tiles.

There are multiple levels of ice tiles before you finally hit the water below. If you land in the water before the 90-second timer runs out, the round will end for you. Since other Robloxians will also be scrambling to survive during this time frame, you must remain cognizant of their positions as well.

At the end of a round, you will receive Gingerbread, the primary currency of the event. The longer you survive, the better the rewards will be. This will be more difficult if the number of players on your server is higher. So, consider trying this mode on a private server to encounter the least possible resistance on your path.

About the Winter Fest

The Winter Fest is a celebration of the arrival of both the winter and the holiday season. It comes with two new in-game activities, one community activity, new pets, and various items to collect, with more content set to arrive in the coming days.

Melt Off is one of its two in-game activities, the other being Ice Skating. You can go on a time trial on the frozen river and earn Gingerbread in the process. Aim to set a new record and maximize your earnings in this minigame.

You can use Gingerbread earned in Melt Off and Ice Skating to purchase new items and pets. Currently, you can interact with and purchase up to nine new items and pets in the event hub, the Mistletroll Village.

Lastly, the game is hosting a community-wide coloring competition for the event’s first week on its Discord server. Participate in it and show off your coloring skills to try and be crowned the winner, receiving the Legendary Fairy Bat Dragon and FR Potions as freebies.
