Adopt Me Winter Fest guide

Adopt Me has you collect different pets and act as their surrogate in a laid-back roleplaying experience. The arrival of the winter season was accompanied by an in-game event called the Winter Fest. This seasonal event brings new minigames, activities, collectible pets and a competitive event held on the official Discord server.

The Winter Fest began on December 6, 2024, officially kicking off the event with the season’s greetings. This event is primarily set in the Mistletroll Village, a special map you can teleport to from the hub world.

You can collect the event-specific currency, Gingerbread, by playing the various minigames and participating in new activities featured in the event world. The currency is usable in the event shop in Mistletroll Village, granting you access to a brand-new selection of pets and other resources.

Currently, most items are locked in the shop, which will be unlocked over time as the developers unveil new content in the forthcoming weeks.

New activities

In total, two brand-new in-game activities are a part of the Winter Fest: the Melt Off minigame and Ice Skating. The Melt Off minigame has you dash across the melting tiles in an effort to be the last person standing. You must not linger on a tile for an exceedingly long time, or it will melt away and plunge you into the depths of the map. This minigame is a prominent source of Gingerbread and currently the best way to farm the currency.

The other activity is Ice Skating, which can be performed on the frozen river in Mistletroll Village. Speak to Speedy, the NPC, to get started and attempt to quickly clear the course to find a place on the leaderboard. You will receive Gingerbread for a job well done.

As a part of the Winter Fest, Adopt Me is currently hosting a coloring competition on the community’s Discord server. Players can show off their creativity and display their understanding of colors by using the provided line drawings and filling them with colors. They have until December 12, 2024, to submit their work in the #Coloring channel for a chance to be crowned the winner.

The winner of the coloring competition will receive a Fairy Bat Dragon and FR potions as rewards. Note that participants are required to be level 5 or higher on the Discord server to be able to take part in this competition.
