The latest update for Anime Defenders added an endless new game mode. Dubbed the Towers of Eternity, the newly-introduced mode is a fun new way of battling enemies and exploring the limits of your units. Naturally, this can be frustrating, particularly if you’ve just started playing the game.

This guide goes over the Towers of Eternity mode in Anime Defenders, providing tips on beating it. Read on it to learn to clear floors as high as 100 with little to no effort.

In Towers of Eternity in Anime Defenders, you will start on Floor 1 with the weakest enemies, and upon defeating them, progress to the next level. Upon clearing each floor, you will be rewarded with many items and resources, such as Gems, Trait Crystals, Gold, and more. The higher you climb, the better the rewards.

The enemies that appear on each floor of the game mode reflect those of the Story Mode. Lower floors include foes from the Story Mode’s Windmill Village map, while later floors pit you against those from Swordsman Dojo and Snowy Woods. The enemy variety keeps the floors fresh even after consecutively clearing tens of floors.

If defeated, the game mode will end and you will be teleported back to the lobby. Based on your performance, you will also be ranked on the leaderboard with other players.

Since the game mode uses a season-based Tower rotation, its leaderboard is reset at the end of each season. High-ranking players receive enticing prizes when a season ends to motivate everyone to try to climb as many floors as possible.

If the leaderboard is not a concern for you, you can use the Towers to obtain various resources and plenty of in-game currency. With a single climb to Floor 100, you can earn 22,750 Gems, 145 Trait Crystals, 75 Risky Dice, and 40 Frost Binds.

Needless to say, the Towers are an efficient way to grind resources if you have the units to clear them.

The best way to clear floors in Towers of Eternity is to pile on as much damage as possible within a short time frame.

The idea is to obliterate enemy hordes before they can properly walk the path from their spawn point. This does not necessarily mean using units with an area of effect attack. Rather, consider using units that attack several times in a row with a low cooldown.

A great strategy is to use status effects that deal damage over time. The Burn status ailment is a fantastic example, as each of its ticks adds to the hefty damage dealt by your main damage dealers. When supported by dedicated support units, your relentless assault will trounce enemies like flies.

Here’s a list of recommended units for Towers of Eternity:

  • Flame Dragon God: Mythic rarity, inflicts Burn.
  • Pink Rockstar: Legendary rarity, dedicated support
  • The Pro Gamer: Secret rarity, area of effect damage and summons
  • Donut Master: Mythic rarity, inflicts Slow status effect
  • The Rift Sorcerer: Secret rarity, long-ranged damage dealer

Certain units synergize well with each other, such as The Pro Gamer pairing well with the Donut Master’s Slow status effect. You may also use Flame Dragon God with these two units.

Place these units close to the spawn, with units like The Rift Sorcerer near the middle to catch any stragglers. Lastly, place Pink Rockstar in an area where its support abilities affect the most units on your team.

With this team and strategy, you can secure a place on the leaderboard with relative ease.
