A new Halloween-themed Island has been added to the game, commemorating the arrival of the spooky season. This island is not available by default and must be unlocked by interacting with the game’s newest individual game mode: Death Row. Reaching Room 15 in Death Row unlocks Halloween Island.

Death Row puts you up against death row inmates, who must be defeated to progress further. Each inmate has a higher HP than the preceding enemy, making them quite formidable by the time you reach the final area, Room 30. Defeating an inmate earns you resources like Souls and Mortars, making them perfect for beginners and intermediate players.

You can also obtain Scary Upgrades to improve your stats, increasing Power, Stars, Damage and Candy by three levels. These upgrades also apply to Equip and Open, which receive up to two levels each.

Spooky Fruits, Creepy Sentinels, and Evolution

An addition to the Fruits system is the Halloween-exclusive Spooky Fruits, which are more powerful than the Fruits obtained in the base game. Spooky Fruits can only be obtained during the Halloween event, after which they will no longer be available.

Similarly, the Creepy Sentinels system allows you to increase your rate of power gain by a noticeable degree. Use the Creepy Sentinel and Second Creepy Sentinel to raise your normal and Halloween-exclusive powers to new heights, trivializing boss battles.

Lastly, the final new addition to the game’s systems is Evolution. Evolution is a permanent addition to the game that applies a multiplier to your power. This can be quite helpful for all players training to be as strong as possible.

You can access this system by teleporting to Kaiju World, and using Suns obtained from the Protect Totem mode. This can be done multiple times for higher multipliers, making Evolution a steady upward climb towards new strength levels.
