In Attack on Titan Revolution, Families are factions that can completely change the way you play the game. The buffs and skills you receive by getting into the right Family can completely dictate your character build, making it one of the central mechanics of the game.

If you’re new to the game, then you may not have access to the best Families just yet. However, given the impact they have on the game, it’s important to know which Family suits your play style the best so you can plan ahead.

This guide ranks all Families in the game to give you a quick idea of which families to aim for. Note that Common Families have no effects, so this tier list will not list them as they are nothing more than flavor text.

S-tier: Game-changers

The Families in this tier offer the most buffs and have little to no downsides. All three Legendary Families make it into this tier, along with Tybur, an Epic rarity faction. Tybur is included in this tier because of its mixture of stat boosts and utility effects, making it a well-rounded clan for a Warhammer Titan-centric build.

The A-tier consists mostly of Epic rarity Families that offer great buff effects, albeit not to the same extent as those in the S-tier. Despite offering fewer buffs, these are easier to get than most clans in the higher tier, so you can settle on any of the following.

The options in B-tier are quite average and you may be better off rerolling if you are close to activating the pity system. However, in certain scenarios or builds, they can shine on their own.
