BedWars, the team-versus-team arena battler, has recently added a new update focused on a brand-new Tournament mode. Dubbed the Weekly Tournaments update, this patch introduces a new game mode for players to enjoy during the defined tourney period. In addition to the Tournaments mode, the latest patch updates the LTM Rotation and the Kits of the Week, and squashes a few bugs as well.

Tournaments, timings, and Divisions

The new Tournaments mode is a 5v5 game mode where you can team up with four other players to battle the opposing team. Each player must play their role perfectly to secure the win and earn an exclusive animated emote, a tournament-limited title, and BedCoins.

This mode divides teams based on the average skill rating of the team members. A highly skilled team is placed in Division I, while others are placed in Division II or III based on their experience with the game. This ensures that the tournament does not end up being lopsided in skilled players’ favor, giving players of all skill levels a chance at winning.

The timings for the weekly Tournaments also vary based on the region. A different time slot is afforded to the North America, South East Asia, and Europe regions, as listed below:

• North America: 4 pm PST (10 am UTC) - 6 pm PST (12 am UTC) on Mondays.
• Europe: 6 am PST (1 pm UTC) - 8 am PST (3 pm UTC) on Mondays.
• South East Asia: 3 am PST (11 pm UTC) - 5 am PST (1 am UTC) on Mondays.

LTM Rotation and free Kits of the week

The LTM Rotation has been updated with the Weekly Tournaments Beta patch, adding the All Same Kit to the mix. This replaces One in the Chamber mode and requires all players to use the same Kit, creating a skill-based experience that tests the player’s game knowledge.

Free Kits of the week include the Metal Detector, the Dino Tamer, the Jade, and the Noelle. The Noelle is the newest addition to the free Kit pool and using her in battle requires you to be level 20 to unlock.

Bug fixes and other changes

A suite of bug fixes, balance updates, and gameplay adjustments were made to the game with the latest update. These are listed below:

• Mass Hammer was added to the base lucky block.
• Hero and Villain Scissor Sword was given a buff, speeding up its attack scaling to be twice as fast. The attack damage has been adjusted from 40 to 20.
• Addressed an issue where the robbery ball did not give the robber items.
• Fixed issues that prevented Kit contracts from progressing.
• Squashed a bug where Wren’s shop allowed players to place more Tesla Traps than the defined limit.

Kit progression content for the title is also planned to be released next week.
