How Spooky Showdown in Blade Ball works

Spooky Showdown is a 16-player tournament mode that has multiple rounds to determine the final winner. This mode is one of the limited-time events that are a part of the title's Halloween-themed celebration. In line with the celebration, you will receive All Hallows Eve-themed freebies for earning a victory in this mode.

The mode is split into three rounds: two Elimination Rounds and one Final Round. Once players choose one of the three map choices, they are split into two groups of eight players. These groups undergo one Elimination Round each, with the last remaining three players in either bracket moving on to the Final Round.

The Final Round is a 3v3 match, where only one player can reign supreme. Upon securing a victory, the winner is rewarded with a Trophy, the mode’s primary currency. They can then use the Trophy to purchase various freebies or open Spooky Crates for a chance to collect the rarest prizes.

The Spooky Showdown Shop lets you purchase various items by exchanging a certain number of Trophies for them. Since this Shop involves no crate-like RNG whatsoever, you can directly obtain the desired item as long as you have the right amount of Trophies.

Listed below are the items available in the Spooky Showdown Shop:

• Pumpkin Pop Explosion: 1 Trophy
• Ghostly Eruption Explosion: 3 Trophies
• Spooky Stomp Emote: 5 Trophies
• Cursed Inferno Explosion: 7 Trophies
• Reaper’s Grasp Emote: 10 Trophies
• Witch’s Brew Emote: 12 Trophies
• Shadow Dagger: 15 Trophies
• Ghoul’s Fang: 25 Trophies

You can also opt to perform a spin on the Spooky Crates. Requiring one Trophy per spin, these crates offer some of the rarest event-exclusive rewards in the game. You can obtain any of the four unique weapons, two Explosion effects, and one emote, featured in the crate’s selection of items.

Five Spooky Crates can also be bought using 499 Robux if you wish to circumvent the tournament grind entirely. Here’s a list of items offered by the Spooky Crate, along with their drop rates:
