The process of unlocking a new Pet begins by acquiring an Egg. Since getting more Pets is the main objective of the game, this makes Eggs its most important aspect. The more of these items you unlock, the better your chances of getting a new and rare Pet.

Eggs are often obtained as rewards for completing various tasks, such as finishing a mission or playing for a certain period. Missions that reward an Egg can be seen at the top of the screen, which shows the objective and your progress. Once completed, you can click on the Egg to receive it.

You may also acquire an Egg by walking into its model in the overworld. These Eggs are placed somewhat out of the way, where they are visible but not in immediate reach. You can access them by finding places to jump on nearby, acting as a minor puzzle.

Another easy way of obtaining an Egg is to purchase it from dedicated stations in each region. Approach the station and press E to use the specified amount of Coins and hatch the Egg. If you have enough in-game money, you can also toggle Auto-Hatch, which automatically consumes your Coins to continuously hatch Eggs until they run out.

Lastly, you receive an Egg once every hour of gameplay. Known as the Hourly Egg, this item can be claimed at the spawn location. The rarity of the Egg you receive depends on your Pet score, with a score of 5,000 required for an Ascended Egg.
