Breaking Crystals requires each Pet to dish out damage, which is determined by its base damage rating. Pets are segregated in two ways: rarities and types. There are eight Pet rarities in Collect All Pets, along with five Pet types. Both classification systems have a direct impact on the damage a Pet dishes out.

Pet rarities include Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Prodigious, Ascended, and Mythical. Common Pets have the lowest base damage of 10, while Mythical Pets have the highest at 80. This base damage then receives a hefty multiplier based on its type.

The five Pet types are Normal, Shiny, Metallic, Giant, and Shiny Giant. Within these types, Metallic is the only one to have five subtypes: Chrome, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian, and Titanium.
