Fisch is a cozy game about scouring the seas to catch new fish species and complete the bestiary. Your primary fishing implement, the fishing rod, can be augmented to improve its performance during the angling process. These augmentations are known as Rod Enchants, and they can be applied to most rods in the game using Enchant Relics.

Rod Enchants are passive effects that you can freely apply to fishing rods using an Enchant Relic. These effects boost a certain stat that can amplify the effectiveness of the angling tool, making it more useful for catching the most difficult-to-catch fish.

Naturally, you will need access to Enchant Relics to apply a particular Enchant to your fishing rod. These Relics can be found anywhere on the map, from treasure chests or as a random drop from all fishing spots in the game. The odds of fishing up a Relic are one in 500, which are only increased while in the Depths to one in 100. At level 30 or higher, you can buy Relics at Sunstone Island for 11,000 Cash apiece.

With an Enchant Relic in your possession, visit the Statue of Sovereignty and go to the NPC Cole in the Sovereignty Mines. Speaking to them leads you to the Keeper’s Altar, where you can apply a random Enchant to your fishing rod.
