Enchanting is a mechanic in Five Nights TD that enhances the attacking prowess of your units through various buffs. While applying Enchantments to your units isn’t strictly necessary for the early game, endgame areas all but demand it. After all, some of the best enchantments can increase your unit’s stats by a massive 30%, which is very noticeable in practice.

This guide explores how the Enchanting mechanic works in this Roblox title and gives you a rundown on every available Enchantment for your units.

Enchants are passive effects that can be applied to every unit in Five Nights TD. These perks can be applied from the Enchanting section of the main hub using Souls, one of the currencies in the game. The system works similarly to a gacha system, where you use Souls to roll for one of the various available effects.

Enchanting a unit can offer one of four perks at a time: strength increase, range increase, attack cooldown decrease, and Boss Killer. Boss Killer aside, each of these perks has three distinct levels that dictate their tiers by the number next to their name. For instance, the Damage I Enchantment applies a 10% Strength buff, while the Damage III Enchantment increases the stat by 30%.

The Boss Killer enchantment is a special case, as it only comes in a single variety and has an extremely small chance of appearing. It boosts the unit’s damage against bosses by 100% while buffing the unit’s base attack damage by 20%.

This is particularly useful on units like Shadow Freddy that specialize in dishing out tons of damage.
