Like the infinite modes featured in most tower defense-style games, the Endless Mode in Five Nights TD has you participate in an unending battle. The goal is to survive as long as possible before the enemy Animatronics reach the Exit, which is simple enough for the first few waves. After that, however, the game’s difficulty will continuously rise, throwing increasingly strong enemies at you.

Every few waves, the game will reward you for surviving for as long as you have. These prizes can be viewed from the Rewards tab on the bottom right for a quick look at what freebies await you.

Here’s what you receive for clearing Waves in the Endless mode:

  • Tokens
  • Souls
  • Presents (Uncommon, Exclusive, Endo, etc.)

Based on their type, Presents can give you access to new rare Units, which can become a part of your build for the next Endless Mode run.

If your aim is not to rank highly on the leaderboard, consider stopping at Wave 100. Every reward from Wave 100 onward is a repetition of what you’ve obtained previously, making it better to start over. But if you want to rank as highly as possible, your build must be peerless.

As a general tip, it’s usually best to have at least a couple of Units like Bonnie with the Speed III Enchantment on them. Place them closer to the enemy spawn, in front of your main damage dealer. This allows your Units to make short work of low-threat enemies and gives the main damage dealers the room to dish out hefty damage to the boss enemies.

Additionally, ensure that at least one of your units has the Withered Enchantment to make them more effective for the long haul. You may use this on Freddy or Bonnie to shoot their damage through the roof. Placing these units will be sufficient for the first 40-50 waves, with a unit close to the Exit to cover any blind spots.

For the last slot, you can include another damage dealing Unit or simply use a powerful and expensive Boss Killer. You will earn enough money while mowing down enemy waves to place at least one of these Units on the map. So, you don’t have to worry about Cash while playing this mode.

As you continue taking down wave after wave, keep upgrading your Units and placing more of them around the map. Around Wave 80, enemies will start pouring from every Entrance, making it essential to have at least one Unit covering it.

With this strategy, you should make it to Wave 100 fairly soon. Continue following it to see as far as you wish or sell every unit to return to the lobby and start over to grind rewards.
