Night 1 is available in all Five Nights TD's standard difficulty modes: Easy, Medium, Hard, Impossible, and Nightmare. The rewards you get change depending on the difficulty, with higher settings giving you better items and resources as a prize.

If you’re a beginner, we recommend starting at Easy mode since the stage does not give a lot of starting cash to place units. The stage starts you out with $300, which is just enough to place one of the low-rarity units on the field next to the Entrance door. Use your low-cost unit to try and take out the first few enemies.

On higher difficulties, some of the enemies may survive, but the idea is to earn some cash and place better units on the field. Taking some damage in the process is not an issue early on.

With the first wave done, you will have enough cash to place multiple units. Place one of your best towers along the Entrance door and begin upgrading every unit on the field as you take them down. The important thing is to place towers with different Enchants, as not every unit will fulfill the same role in your team.

Having a mixture of Speed, Damage, and Range Enchants is usually the best way to go. Of course, if you have the elusive Boss Killer Enchant applied to a unit, bringing it along is a no-brainer.

As your towers mow down enemies, continue upgrading them and placing more on the field to form an impenetrable line of defense. By the time you reach the final wave, all of your units will likely be fully upgraded and ready to dole out punishment to the boss. If you have it, ensure that your Boss Killer is primed and ready to tackle the stage boss: Mangled Bonnie.

Allow the battle to run its course and place more units if necessary to secure the victory and complete the first night in the game. For completion, you will receive 12 XP, 100 Coins, and have a chance at various other rewards like Souls, crates, and more. Completing the stage on higher difficulties rewards you with rare versions of these items.
