Five Nights TD PvP guide

Five Nights TD is all about fending off dozens of animatronic waves with your units to keep them from escaping into the wider world. With its latest update, the game introduced a PvP mode that allows players to compare their loadouts against a wave of enemies. The mode places both Robloxians on an even playing field so they can find out who the best is.

This guide will introduce you to PvP in Five Nights TD and the rewards you get for participating in such battles.

PvP gameplay in Five Nights TD does not directly put you in combat with the other player; rather, it divides a stage into two halves, assigning one to each. Both participants must make use of their loadouts in the best possible way to see who can clear out animatronic waves faster.

You can also send additional enemies to the opponent’s side to add pressure. This costs in-game money, of course, which you can earn by destroying animatronics on your side of the map. The more waves you destroy, the more enemies you unlock to rain on the opponent’s side.

The first combatant to finish the battle without dying wins the round. Winning earns you Trophies, ELO, and other useful resources that can be used for Enchants or upgrades.

Here, PvP has a Global Ranked version, which features a leaderboard based on your ELO count, and a Casual mode. A major difference between these two is that the former includes a built-in matchmaking system, while the latter lets you choose opponents manually. This distinction is necessary to prevent any exploits in the Ranked ladder, keeping the leaderboard as free of foul play as possible.

Note that since this is the earliest version of PvP in this experience, you may encounter bugs along the way. These hiccups are expected to be patched out.
