Inspired by One Piece, Grand Piece includes a set of special abilities known as Haki, which leverages a fighter’s spiritual ability in combat. Offering various effects like auto-dodge and improved defenses, Haki is invaluable to players. This is particularly true since there are no drawbacks to obtaining a Haki, making them a shoo-in for every possible build in the game.

This guide goes over Haki, its implementation in Grand Piece, and how it can be obtained in the game.

The Hakis implemented in the game remain true to the lore of the original anime and manga series, One Piece. These are supremely powerful abilities that enable the player to circumvent some of the most overpowered skills in the game. Currently, there are three types of Haki in the game: Armament Haki, Observation Haki, and Conqueror’s Haki.

In addition to boosting your attacking and defensive powers, the Armament Haki allows you to strike an intangible opponent. Since they are no longer intangible to your attacks, this forces all opponents to fight on equal footing with you.

Observation Haki allows you to automatically dodge a certain number of hits, making you invulnerable for the duration of its effects. With its effects active, you can view enemies and Devil Fruits through the walls, allowing you to avoid any unexpected attacks.

Like every other Haki, Conqueror’s Haki is true to the lore of the source material and bends the wills of every fighter weaker than the user. Of course, this would wreak havoc on the game’s balance, which is why it is not implemented into the game. This Haki exists as a concept in the game but is unusable by the player.

Hakis are quite difficult to obtain with dedicated high-level requirements and lengthy quests. The Armament Haki requires you to be level 80 and pay 25,000 Peli before giving you access to the associated quest. Observation Haki, on the other hand, gives you the quest only after executing a perfect block 200 times, being level 165 or higher, and paying 50,000 Peli.

Both Armament and Observation Hakis can be upgraded into advanced forms that take their combat effectiveness to greater heights. Known as V2, these add various effects to the Haki while making the existing ones even stronger.

Armament Haki V2 upgrades your damage and increases effect duration to 3 minutes and 30 seconds. This gives the ability an extra oomph, befitting an endgame ability, allowing you to tackle even the most fearsome bosses.

As for Observation Haki V2, you can auto-dodge up to 10 times and you can use the ability Future Sight. The range of the existing ability to sense enemies and Devil Fruits through walls and ceilings also improves.
