Hell’s Kitchen is an officially licensed Roblox experience that has you manage a restaurant and serve dishes to customers. This game tests your culinary expertise to see if you can make it to the top and become Gordon Ramsay’s star chef. It was created to simulate the environment of the live-action show, where the pressure and the skill bar required to serve the perfect dishes are high.

Getting started with Hell’s Kitchen

Overview

Hell’s Kitchen lets you be a part of Chef Ramsay’s kitchen and deliver the best culinary experience to customers. It features a round-based structure, where you will team up with fellow chefs and compete to rise to the top.

The game splits all players into two groups: Red Team and Blue Team. Each team must prepare various dishes in multiple phases, which are split into several minigames and cooking phases. Players receive scores on an individual basis, which are then added together to decide the winning team.

These scores are given based on customer satisfaction percentage; the better the players perform, the higher the score. The team with the lowest score must then vote on which member leaves the group, eliminating them from the match.

At the end of the three rounds, the winner is decided and crowned the best chef in the show.

Controls

The controls used in this experience are largely the same as the default Roblox keybindings, making the game easy to pick up and play. Here are the keybindings to remember:

Gameplay mechanics

Cooking: Cooking is the lifeblood of this game, and you must follow the on-screen instructions as closely as possible to earn a high score. You must fetch the ingredients from the pantry and fridge, prepare them, and cook them using the specified method. The title will direct you towards the required cooking implement with a colored beacon, but it’s important to be careful nonetheless. You will always be on a strict timer and deviating from the recipe will dramatically lower your score.
Minigames: The game also features minigames like obbies, tag-style chases, and more. These are peppered between cooking phases, giving players a chance to earn extra Coins in the process. Note that failing at certain minigames, such as the Kitchen Demon minigame, where having the Demon at the end of the timer, gives you a debuff.
Eliminations: Each cooking phase of the game ends with a player of the losing team being eliminated. The losing team must vote out one of their own before continuing their journey, which continues until there are just two contestants left. Eliminations in the final round are based purely on player performance, and the person with the higher score leaves the kitchen crowned a victor.
UGCs and accessories: You can access UGCs and accessories from the hub world before you join the game. These unique items can be purchased for Robux, allowing you to add Ramsay’s hair, chef clothes, and other wearables to your Roblox inventory.
Coins and in-game shop: Coins earned during the different gameplay phases of the kitchen can be used at the in-game shop, where you can purchase various power-ups. These power-ups are temporary bonuses that make the experience easier for you, giving you an advantage over the other players. You may also spend Robux to purchase game passes and additional Coins to circumvent the grind.
