Barber Bus is a game about being a barber who works in a motor salon. This experience simulates haircuts, giving you the freedom to experiment with your client’s hair and see what you can come up with. Successful haircuts grant you Cash and Stars, two of the key pillars of this game’s progression system. Your objective is to be the ultimate barber in town.

Barber Bus has you become a part of the titular bus, where your job is to ensure your clients receive the desired haircut. As a barber, you must attend to the clients whenever they seat themselves on the bus within the time limit to earn Cash and Stars.

You can perform up to three actions while styling a client’s hair: cut, grow, or color. Cut mode can be initiated by clicking on the pair of scissors. Then, you can use them by tapping the Left Mouse Button while your Mouse controls the on-screen reticle. In Grow mode, you can apply pieces of hair to the patron’s head using the Mouse. Lastly, you can pick up the brush and throw some color onto their hair based on their requirements.

Earn Cash to unlock cosmetics and Crates, sprucing up your personal space on the bus. Satisfy as many clients as you can to establish yourself as the ultimate hair stylist in the game.

Client service

The main objective of the game is for you to offer barber services to every client who visits the bus. Clients can either be NPCs or players, making it a multiplayer experience where you can cut each other’s hair by taking turns. The game’s reward system allows you to earn money and Stars through your service. Based on your current level, you will receive Bronze, Silver, Gold, and other Stars that scale with your income.

Each patron will only remain on the bus for a limited time, during which you must finish your service. If you fail to attend to them in time, they will storm off angrily, leaving you with no money for the efforts rendered.

Quests

Quests are a great way to structure your playthrough of the game as they give you something to work towards. These missions involve interacting with the core mechanics of the experience, encouraging you to try them out and come up with something creative along the way.\

Upon completion, these grant you Cash as a reward, giving you the resources necessary for customization options.

Customization and in-game Shop

The game lets you customize the chair, the table, your trusty pair of scissors, the carpet, and more through the Inventory and Customize options. Additional customization options can be unlocked through the in-game Shop, where you may spend in-game Cash on Chests that drop these items. The chests come in four types: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, which cost 100, 200, 300, and 500 Cash, respectively.

You can buy various themed cosmetics, Cash bundles, and game passes using Robux as well.
