Blades and Buffoonery is an arena battler where you must use weapons to fight other players and attempt to knock them off the edge. This title is completely combat-focused, with good gear and skills being the only things that matter. You can earn Heads by scoring eliminations and use the spoils of victory to purchase different types of swords to equip in battle.

This title includes two main areas: the hub and the arena. You can browse the different weapons available in the game in the hub world and purchase them with Heads. You can also freely view your inventory, open crates, and go through the shop while in the area without worrying about enemy attacks.

Once you’ve finished the pre-battle setup, step on the conveyor to be taken to the arena teleporter, where you can take on everyone else in battle. While in the arena, you can use your best weapons to score as many eliminations as possible. Your weapon will automatically be equipped and you can use everything in your arsenal.

Arena battles

Battles have no set structure in this title. They are free-for-all and everything and everyone is allowed to partake in combat. You will encounter experienced and new players alike in battle and, depending on your skill level, battles can either be a cakewalk or intensely challenging.

The game is set in a large arena that floats atop an abyss. Hence, falling off the battleground results in instant death. Defenestration happens to be one of the easiest ways to eliminate others, which is why we advise caution while fighting Robloxians.

While on the map, you will encounter random crate spawns that reward you with Gems, blades, or other unique items. Be sure to break them open and claim their contents before others nab them and take the spoils for themselves.

Blades

You can unlock new Blades from the dedicated rooms in the hub area, where you can browse the different weapon types. Expensive Blades have unique characteristics that make them more effective than others. This makes it essential to rack up as many Heads as possible to obtain the best swords and ravage other players in the arena.

Cosmetics and shop

Heads can also be used to open crates, which grant you unique glows and idle effects. Such cosmetics are segregated into different rarities that have specific pull rates assigned to them. These include Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, whose pull chances are 40%, 30%, 20%, 8%, and 2%, respectively.

You may also browse the in-game shop, where you can purchase Gems, Heads, and game passes. Game passes include gameplay benefits that increase your combat effectiveness, making it easier to score eliminations.
