Charles Revenge is about a sentient piece of steak that transforms into a much larger version of itself over the course of the game. In the beginning, the game has you prepare the steak, or Charles, through actions like freezing and cooking it.

This experience features a three-act structure, where the first and second acts showcase what triggers the steak to transform. You are required to season, marinate, freeze, burn, and place it in a trap to progress the game. At some point, the game also prompts you to throw darts at it to reach the final act.

In the third act, the steak transforms into a monstrous version of itself, after which it corners your avatar. It proceeds to perform the same actions that you were prompted to, and depending on your actions, you will receive one of three endings.

Getting all three endings

There are three possible endings in the game, as is the norm with horror titles. The first ending is the easiest: allow the piece of meat to kill you. This gives you the Dead Ending badge, and you will have the option to either revive yourself or return to the lobby.

The second ending has you follow the on-screen instructions, throwing objects at the piece of meat and stopping it from killing you. Eventually, it will topple, giving you the opportunity to escape through the stairs. This gives you the Escape ending, where you leave unharmed and earn a badge of the same name.

Lastly, the third ending involves picking up a potion bottle and going to the Blender Room. Here, you must empty the contents of the blender into the potion bottle and throw it at the piece of meat. Doing so transforms the steak back to its normal self, after which you can confine it in the Trap room and leave through the stairs.

This gives you the Potion Ending and a corresponding badge to match.
