Hole in the Wall is a Roblox experience where you try to fit the hole in the advancing wall with a matching pose. With four pose options available, use your creativity to pass the wall cutouts to the best of your ability. After all, the available stances don’t always perfectly match the shape of the advancing wall. This makes for an engaging gameplay loop that can be enjoyed for hours on end.
This article dives into everything you need to know about Hole in the Wall and a small glimpse of what a typical round looks like.
About Hole in the Wall
Inspired by the reality show of the same name, Hole in the Wall is a game with a simple premise that anyone can pick up. Its quick and easy-to-understand structure makes it a great game to play with friends. Rounds go by in a flash and every player gets their turn to face the wall within a couple of minutes.
The player pool is divided into three teams: Red, Blue, and Yellow. Team members are chosen randomly and are shuffled at the end of each match, making it so no team has a clear advantage over the others. No team can win by relying on a single player and so, all players must learn to work with each other.
Round progression for this title is quite straightforward: each match has either a solo round or a team round, with each player having the opportunity to score 10 points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of a round wins the match.
Each player has access to four poses at all times: Lie Down, Sit, Dive, and Handstand. While not all holes in the walls fit these stances perfectly, these are tools that can be used to clear some of the more difficult layouts. For example, one of the new walls features a hammock-shaped hole, which a player can pass through using the Dive pose.

Solo Rounds
Solo rounds put a single player in the spotlight, pitting them against a hole in an advancing wall. The wall type is randomly chosen from a wall pool of varying difficulties. Ranging from Easy to Hard, these walls can either be a cakewalk or require incredible precision. Naturally, this makes each match unpredictable and exciting.
Successfully crossing the wall earns the player’s team 10 points, which contributes to the final count. The team with the most points wins the match.
Team Rounds
Team rounds have all three members of a team placed in the spotlight at the same time to face the hole in the moving wall. This requires plenty of cooperation between the team members, requiring them to position themselves perfectly to pass through the gap. If any team member fails to do so, they will be pushed back into a small pool.
The team members who clear the wall will earn 10 points each. As was the case with Solo rounds, the team with the most cumulative points will win the match.
Frames and Walls
Wall types can be viewed from the section of the same name in the hub area. You can view the tens of different layouts in preparation for the match ahead, or simply to see what the game has to offer.
Surrounding walls are frames, which can be equipped by each player. These are cosmetic only, adding a little flavor to the approaching walls. Feel free to swap between different frames to find the one that suits your taste the best.
