Korrupt Zombies is a zombie survival shooter experience that takes cues from the Call of Duty Zombie mode. As you mow down hundreds of undead walkers, you earn XP, which is required for level-ups and, by extension, weapon unlocks. That’s where the latest update’s Double XP Weekend event comes into play. Offering a blanket 2x increase to the experience gained for everyone, this event can be your opportunity to slingshot yourself up the levels.

An overview of Double XP Weekend in Korrupt Zombies

The Double XP Weekend event adds a flat multiplier of two to every source of experience points in the game. This event lasts two days, giving you ample time to grind out as many levels as you desire and unlock every level-gated item.

You gain XP for surviving rounds, as does your weapon for killing enemies. The more rounds you survive and the more enemies you kill, the higher your XP gain. After earning enough XP, your character will level up, unlocking a particular item or perk.

The 2x multiplier to your experience gain rate applies to daily challenges as well, giving an additional 5,000 XP for completing all missions. This means you can get well over 10,000 XP for completing these minor tasks that are only slightly challenging.

Leverage the higher XP gain by grabbing a few friends to take on hordes of zombies, score kills, and complete daily challenges along the way.

Level Unlocks in Korrupt Zombies

Certain weapons, perks, and upgrades are locked behind a level requirement, separated by a single level-up. This means you're guaranteed to unlock something every time you gain a level. The Double XP Weekend enables you to go on an unlocking spree, using the boosted XP gain rate to maximum effect.
