Topia City has been given a Halloween-flavored makeover, with Jack O’Lanterns, cobwebs, and other ghostly decorations placed in the game world. You can get into the spirit of the celebration by dressing up accordingly and celebrating the coming of the holiday on the Happy Halloween stage in Topia City.

Leaning into the spirit of the holiday are two new accessories: the Pumpkin Light Stick and the Ghostly Projection Lamp. Both of these can be accessed through the in-game inventory and equipped at will.

Equipping the Pumpkin Light Stick automatically plays an animation of your avatar swinging them around. If you wish, you can alter the animation by pressing F and picking the option that suits your style the most.

As for the Ghostly Projection Lamp, you can spawn it anywhere on a flat surface and switch it on at will. Activating the lamp by pressing E causes the lamp to project the image of a swaying ghost, which fits the new scary elements of the city. Furthermore, it is a great addition to the front yard of a Halloween-themed house, encapsulating what the event is all about.

Update 179 adds two new houses: a free Halloween-themed house and a premium one with an optional Halloween theme toggle. Select the preferred option from the House menu and build it in an unoccupied space in the city.

The free Halloween-themed house is a large structure with everything you need for a horror-themed roleplaying experience. Its aesthetics are those of a posh villa, being large enough for your friends to occupy freely.

As for the Premium house, it comes with a special Halloween mode that can be toggled on and off using the dedicated button. This ensures that once the season is over, you can switch back to normal mode without worrying about the spooky aesthetics outstaying their welcome.
