MM2 Hacker guide

MM2, known otherwise as Murder Mystery 2, has you experience a game of cat-and-mouse between a Sheriff and a Murderer, with Innocents stuck in the crossfire. As a Sheriff, your job is to identify and hunt down the Murderer using a gun. There are dozens of rare and unique guns to choose from, one of which is known simply as the Hacker.

Here’s what you need to know about the Hacker and how you can get it in Murder Mystery 2.

Guns in MM2 are functionally the same, offering no unique qualities between different varieties. This makes each gun available at the in-game Shop a cosmetic alteration for when you are chosen to be the Sheriff. You can obtain guns through Trading or by purchasing the various Gun boxes from the Shop.

The Hacker is a Rare gun that comes as a part of the Gun Box 2. This black and green revolver has a unique flair, making it one of a kind. However, being a Rare gun, you only have a 10% chance of getting the Hacker upon opening the aforementioned Gun Box.

A Gun Box can be opened using 1,000 Coins, 100 Gems, or one Key. Coins can be obtained by playing the game normally and picking up random Coin drops on the map. In contrast, Gems are premium-exclusive, requiring you to purchase them with Robux. Lastly, Keys can be obtained during certain events or purchased using Gems at the in-game Shop.

Coins are quite abundant for all three playable roles, making them the easiest to collect. That said, it can be frustrating if you do not get the Hacker even after collecting the 1000 Coins needed to open the Gun Box. So, we recommend waiting for an event, where you can collect keys and use them to open the Gun Box 2.

The easiest way to obtain the Hacker is through trading. Coordinate with a player willing to trade the gun on the official MM2 Discord server and obtain it within minutes. You can offer something of equivalent value in return, but be wary of any scams.

MM2 has you play as either a Murderer, a Sheriff, or one of the Innocents in a match. Each of these roles has a specific purpose in the game, as their respective names suggest.
