Pixel Tower Defense is a Roblox experience that draws some inspiration from Minecraft. It features a robust Crafting system that allows you to create units by combining different resources. This gives you easy access to over a dozen different towers, ranging from Common to Godly rarities. Furthermore, the mechanic doubles as an evolution system for your units, combining other towers with materials to create a more powerful one.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Crafting system in Pixel Tower Defense, as well as all the units you can craft with it.

How Crafting works in Pixel Tower Defense

Crafting is a fairly straightforward mechanic in Pixel Tower Defense: collect the required resources and combine them at the Crafting Station in the Summon area.

There are two main types of resources that you must gather to engage with the Crafting system: summonable units and materials.

Summonable units can be obtained by performing summons in the Summon area. Materials are stage completion rewards and are much easier to come by.

Crafting in this experience is similar to Evolution from other tower defense-style games, acting as a direct upgrade for the selected unit. This is also reflected in the unit’s name, often taking on aspects of the crafting materials to showcase how they have evolved.

Crafting selection

As of now, there are 13 unique Crafting recipes in the game. This Crafting selection includes one Common, one Rare, four Epic, two Legendary, two Mythic, and three Godly units.

Listed below is every unit that can be obtained by Crafting, along with the respective material and unit requirements:

Common Hell Havoc: 3x Wood, 1x Common Havoc; costs 10 Gems
Rare Ice King: 1x Rare Frosty, 10x Wood; costs 25 Gems
Epic Thunder Claw: 1x Epic Thunder, 15x Iron, 20x Wood; costs 35 Gems
Epic Galaxy Magma: 1x Epic Magma, 15x Iron, 20x Wood; costs 35 Gems
Epic Emerald Slayer: 1x Epic Diamond Slayer; 15x Iron, 20x Wood; costs 35 Gems
Epic Zombie Lancelot: 1x Epic Lancelot, 15x Iron, 20x Wood; costs 35 Gems
Legendary Rosy Apollo: 1x Legendary Apollo, 20x Gold Bar, 25x Iron; costs 50 Gems
Legendary Wizard of the Hell: 1x Legendary Wizard of the Heavens, 20x Gold Bar, 25x Iron; costs 50 Gems
Mythic Iron Cyborg: 1x Mythic Cyborg, 20x Diamond, 30x Gold Bar, 40x Iron; costs 100 Gems
Mythic Light Pyromancer: 1x Mythic Pyromancer, 20x Diamond, 30x Gold Bar, 40x Iron; costs 100 Gems
Godly Reaper King: 1x Godly Grim Reaper, 10x Emerald, 25x Diamond, 50x Gold Bar, 100x Iron; costs 500 Gems
Godly Demonic Agni: 1x Godly Agni, 10x Emerald, 25x Diamond, 50x Gold Bar, 100x Iron; costs 500 Gems

The stats of each unit in the Crafting Selection directly evolve from its pre-evolution state, with DPS, Limit, Damage, Range, and Speed seeing massive improvements. You can check the specific stats by hovering the cursor over the character portrait.
