Fruit Seas is an anime-inspired experience where you train, fight, and explore the world to claim the title of the greatest pirate. It features eight distinct races for roleplay, with each offering a unique ability or stat boost. They are differentiated based on acquisition rate, so certain races in this experience tend to be more effective in combat than others.
This tier list aims to provide you with the necessary information so you can choose wisely while creating the best possible build.
Ranking all Races in Fruit Seas
S-Tier: The Best of the Best
The best race is the Lunarian as it offers multiple boosts that stack plenty of damage over time. It is thus well-suited for endgame content. It is the sole occupant of the S-Tier since no other race comes close in terms of benefits.
Lunarians can apply burn damage through normal attacks, giving them access to elemental damage without requiring special weaponry. They have a 2x boost when inflicting burn damage, making their normals even more effective. They are also completely immune to burn damage, which can be particularly useful when facing an enemy who specializes in fire attacks.

A-Tier: On the Cusp of Greatness
The A-Tier houses two races in Fruit Seas: Vampire and Oni. Both of these races target survivability in different ways but are effective nonetheless.
Vampires specialize in life-stealing abilities, which allows them to regenerate HP when striking NPCs or other players. They can recover up to 5% HP with each hit and may trigger a 5% chance for a critical strike as well. Combined with the 15% passive HP Regeneration, this race will recover its HP faster than the rest. Vampires are particularly effective for endgame content, which typically features a lot of combat.
As for Oni, the race is able to survive by reducing damage received from specific sources. Its passive boost is simple but effective; it reduces damage received from Sword and Fighting Styles by 10%. Oni players will reap the fruits of this race for as long as they continue to face enemies using fisticuffs and swords in combat.
B-Tier: Mediocrity Personified
The races in the B-tier are nothing special, offering minor boosts and traversal buffs. They can be effective in certain situations but their utility is nullified if you have the right Demon Fruit.
At first glance, Cyborgs seem quite useful since they increase overall damage dealt instead of buffing a specific damage type. However, the increased damage is a measly 5%, which does not make much of a difference outside of a few niche situations. You are unlikely to feel its effects in practice, which makes it quite mediocre.
The effects offered by Minks and Skypians are rather similar as they both affect mobility. Mink increases your movement speed while boosting maximum stamina. On the other hand, a Skypian gives you access to an additional Geppo charge, allowing you to jump an extra time mid-air.
Both of these abilities are good for what they are, but their usefulness outside of traversal is minimal.
C-Tier: The Underwhelming
The sole inhabitant of the C-tier is the Fishman race as it offers only water-related perks. It increases the speed at which you swim and prevents water damage when you are using a Demon Fruit.
Outside of niche scenarios, you may rarely find yourself interacting with water in Fruit Seas. Additionally, its complete lack of effectiveness in combat makes it rather useless.

D-Tier: The Un-favorite
The only race in the D-tier is Human as it offers no passive buffs or cosmetic alterations. If you get this race, reroll for something better immediately.
