How to clear Area 51 in Roach

The main objective of Area 51 is to destroy the facility and leave unharmed. Roaches occupy every corner of the area, and you must fight through pest hordes to reach the objective area and initiate the self-destruct sequence.

This story starts you out in a helicopter with a clear view of the facility and its infestation. You must eliminate as many arthropods in the area as possible using the mounted guns to clear the field for landing. Switch between guns using your number keys and shoot using the Left Mouse Button.

Once you land, rappel into the facility with the rest of your team and wait for the dialog to finish. The game will then prompt you to use C4 charges to blow open a hole in the wall. Be ready for a fight, as the moment you detonate the explosives, roaches will start flooding in.

Use your primary weapon to blast through the enemy waves and continue to push forward. Wait for your Commander to open the doors, reload your weapons, then proceed to the next room. Here, the bugs will launch yet another assault, with some of them even dropping from the ceiling. Retaliate with your weapons and continue spraying the room with bullets until every enemy is defeated.

The next area is completely shrouded in darkness, demanding the use of a flashlight. Equip yours using the corresponding number key and use it to illuminate the area ahead. Next, interact with the door to use a keypad cracker and initiate the hacking process. While it cracks the door open, you must fight off yet another wave of roaches.

Push back until the cracker has performed its task and you’ve killed all the enemies. Now, the Commander will inform you that something is holding the door down. When you go to investigate, more pests will pour in, prompting another gunfight. Try to stay away from their grasp while opening fire.

With all enemies dealt with, the Commander will order you to pick up an item from the hallway to unlock the Commons area, which is directly ahead. Here, you must rescue a pilot, who is being held hostage by the roaches.

Blast your way through the halls and take your time to catch your breath and reload. As you progress forward, you will find a cell housing the aforementioned pilot. Open its doors and make your way towards the facility exit through its hallways.

Continue running and gunning your way through the passageways until you reach a massive hangar-like space. The Commander will order the pilot to arm the nuclear device while ordering you to cover the pilot as they finish the weapon's initialization process. Eliminate the remaining enemy forces, while this is going on.

Escape through the blast door and follow the path to the mineshaft. It is at this point that the Pilot will be compromised, and you will be faced with the monumental task of killing the monster. Use everything you have to survive the fast-moving monster to avoid being defeated.

Once you damage the monster sufficiently, it will retreat, sending hordes of roaches in its stead. Defeat them and make your way towards the exit. Hook yourself up to the Device when the prompt appears to finish the stage and earn your rewards.
