Roblox The Games is a platform-wide event that rewards players for completing quests and earning badges. It started on August 1, 2024, and will last for 10 days. During this time frame, players can compete against each other in teams. Players will be randomly assigned one of five teams, and they must earn as many Silvers and Shinies as they can by finishing challenges in 50 different experiences.
This guide goes over the basic premise of Roblox The Games, along with the titles, badges, and event items featured prominently in the event.
About Roblox The Games
On a fundamental level, Roblox The Games is similar to previous events like The Classic and The Hunt: First Edition. You can access various titles from a hub area that features event-related quests and challenges. Completing the relevant challenges gives you access to unique badges, collectible items, and more.
The Games features five teams: Angry Canaries, Crimson Cats, Giant Feet, Mighty Ninjas, and Pink Warriors. These teams are helmed by renowned content creators, with three acting as the captains for each team.
Upon launching the event, you can choose to be a part of one of five featured teams and help them win. Completing event-specific quests earns you points, which are added to your team’s aggregate score. The more challenges you complete, the higher your contribution to the team will be.
At the end of the event period on August 11, 2024, the scores of all teams will be tallied to determine the winner. The winning team will receive the Grand Prize, which is yet to be determined since the victors will get to choose it. The associated participants will receive the item chosen by the team captains.

Badges, Shinies, and Event Items
Silvers serve as one of the two primary currencies, which can be earned by completing Roblox The Games quests in the featured experiences. By completing three Silver Badge quests in each game, you can earn a total of 60 Silvers per game. This makes the maximum number of obtainable Silvers 3,000.
The good thing about this is you don’t need to complete every single quest to purchase all items in the shop. You can use the Silvers at the in-game shop to purchase the following exclusive UGCs for your avatar. Note that you can only purchase the more expensive items after buying every item preceding it.
- Competitor’s Iris Earbuds: 60 Silvers
- Competitor’s Iris Cleats: 130 Silvers
- Competitor’s Iris Jacket: 190 Silvers
- Competitor’s Iris Joggers: 250 Silvers
- Competitor’s Iris Racing Kit: 310 Silvers
- Competitor’s Iris Gliders: 370 Silvers
The other way to obtain event-exclusive items is through Shinies. Shinies, the other event-specific currency, can be earned by getting Shinies badges in each game.
Here are the Event Hub Items purchasable using Shinies:
- Team Aura: 25 Shinies
- Speed Coil: 55 Shinies
- Size Manipulator: 80 Shinies
- Gravity Coil: 105 Shinies
- Bow and Arrow: 130 Shinies
- Angel Wings: 155 Shinies
You can also complete quests in the event hub to stock up on a few extra Silvers and Shinies.
