Sol's RNG is an aura-crafting experience where you use the Roll option to get a chance at a rare and unique aura. Its latest update celebrates the advent of Summer, bringing with it various events, quests, and more. During the event period, you can complete the main quest line of the celebration: Lime and Jake’s Quests. These reward you with unique gear and auras, making them well worth the effort.
Here’s a complete walkthrough of Lime and Jake’s Quests in Sol’s RNG.
Completing the Lime and Jake Questline in Sol's RNG
Lime and Jake’s quest line is divided into four parts, with each mission granting you a new freebie. Due to their time-limited nature, these are fairly easy to complete and don’t require you to rely on luck as much. The missions that do require luck come after you acquire the Tide Gauntlet, a gear piece that boosts your luck immensely.
You can initiate and complete these objectives until August 28, 2024, which is when the Summer Event ends. Lime and Jake spawn at the beach area and talking to them begins the quest. Described below are all the missions that are a part of this quest line:
- Quest 1: Fetch an Aquamarine aura to receive the Marine Amulet. Aquamarine can be obtained through rolls with a 1 in 900 chance of appearing.
- Quest 2: Obtain three Solar and one Rage: Heated auras to receive the Tide Gauntlet. A Solar aura can be obtained through rolls, with the odds being 1 in 5,000. The odds of getting the Rage: Heated aura are 1 in 12,800, making it fairly rare to obtain.
- Quest 3: Use one Permafrost aura, two Watermelon auras, the Rainbow Syrup item, and 100 Lucky Potions to make a Hwachae Drink for Lime. The rewards for this quest are the Surfer and Rainbow Ice auras. You have a 1 in 24,500 chance to get Permafrost. In contrast, Watermelon will rarely show up in your rolls, with the chances being 1 in 320,000. The Rainbow Syrup item and Lucky Potion can be purchased from Mari.
- Quest 4: The final quest of the mission chain requires you to use the Tide Gauntlet to obtain Poseidon and roll 300,000 times. Doing so rewards you with the Blessed Tide Gauntlet, a gear piece that is a direct upgrade to the Tide Gauntlet.

Completion rewards for Lime and Jake’s Quests in Sol's RNG
You can obtain various useful and practical rewards by completing all four quests for Lime and Jake. Let’s take a look at what purpose they serve and how you can best utilize them in Sol's RNG:
- Marine Amulet: The Marine Amulet is a gear piece that boosts your luck by 30%. While fairly basic, it is quite useful if you don’t have any other luck-boosting gear pieces in your inventory. This amulet can cut down the number of rolls needed for specific auras rather significantly.
- Tide Gauntlet: The Tide Gauntlet is a more potent version of the Marine Amulet. It buffs your luck by 50% and gives a passive ability that lets you roll Rainy auras with native rarity, no matter where you roll. It is a crucial tool that will continue to serve you well even after the Summer event ends.
- Surfer Aura: The Surfer aura is an event-exclusive aura that can only be obtained through this questline. It creates a pool of water for you to surf on using a surfboard.
- Rainbow Ice: Rainbow Ice is an effect that increases your Luck by 100% and Roll Speed by 25% for an hour. This effect can be instrumental in improving the quality of your rolls while seeking a specific aura.
- Blessed Tide Gauntlet: The upgraded version of the Tide Gauntlet trades the Luck boost for improved Bonus Rolls. It reduces the Bonus Roll Countdown from 10 to 6 and increases the Bonus Roll from 2x to 3x. It keeps the passive ability that preserves an aura’s native rarity.
