Echoes of Boo Bash is an event created in the spirit of Halloween. It can be accessed in Green Hill, the very first area of the game, making it accessible to all players. Available until the Halloween season ends, the event is a great way to obtain exclusive Chao, Trails, and the new playable Reaper Metal Sonic.

Clearing the event entails defeating the titular Boos, which are ghostly spirits that float above the ground across the Green Hill map. To defeat a Boo, you must equip a Friend and a Trail that have a Damage stat tied to them. The higher the damage, the quicker the Boos will fall.

There are two types of Boos to look for: the regular Boo and the Boom Boo. Regular Boos, when defeated, add +5 to your Boo defeated stat in the event’s progression tracker. They spawn abundantly across the map and can be found rather easily. Each Boo has an HP pool of 20 points, making them fairly easy to defeat by simply running into them.

Boom Boos, on the other hand, are rarer but they add +100 to your Boo defeated stat in the event’s progression tracker. Naturally, this makes them the preferred option, provided you can find them on the map. With an HP pool of 50, they are slightly more resilient than their regular counterparts.

Increase your Boo defeated stat to 60,000 to unlock all the rewards that are a part of this event.
