Sonic Speed Simulator is a Roblox experience featuring the famous speedy hedgehog in an adventure. Its latest update introduced the limited-time Music Event, which has you choose the winner in a musical battle between Rockstar Silver and DJ Knuckles. Battle of the Bands is about deciding who has better taste in music: Rockstar Silver or DJ Knuckles. The event requires you to choose a side, complete missions for the respective character, and earn exclusive rewards. Both characters have a different set of missions, which can be viewed by walking into their sides of the event area.

In addition to the missions, you can find Hidden Music Notes scattered across each world to unlock new music. The unlocked tracks can be accessed from the jukebox in the Green Hill and played at will.

Furthermore, getting all 10 new Music Notes grants you access to the Guitar Hoverboard, an exclusive mount that won’t be available after the event period ends. Note that these notes are different from the ones added in the Jukebox update in May 2024.

Where to find all 10 Hidden Music Notes

Listed below are the locations of each of the 10 hidden music notes added during the Music Event in Sonic Speed Simulator.

• The first note is on a pier in the lagoon next to the spawn point in Green Hill.
• Follow the rail behind the Trail Eggs in Lost Valley and jump onto the narrow cliffside with two palm trees for the second note.
• Starting at the Next World area in Emerald Hill, go behind the three Egg-purchasing stations and follow the path straight ahead. Approach the grassy ramp, jump off, and with enough speed, you will land on the distant cliff. Next to the blue speed ring is the third hidden note.
• Jump off the bouncy platform behind Eggman’s statue and boost yourself to the nearest building. The fourth note is on the rooftop.
• Use a plane and fly past the Neo Metal Sonic station in the Hill Top world. Aim for the nearest tall pathway, dismount, and follow the path along to the next gateway. The hidden note is to the right of the gateway.
• Take the path next to the Torii gate in Speed Jungle Zone, stick to the right, and jump onto the three narrow pipes jutting out of the green walkway. Follow the pipes until you spot the music note on one of the cliffsides to the left.
• Equip a hoverboard mount and jump off the ship from the captain’s side in the No Place world. You will find the music note on a floating wooden crate.
• Walk past the Jukebox in the Cyber Station and continue following the path forward. Take the fork left paths where possible until you see bright green platforms to the right. Leap onto one of them and approach the opposite edge from where you can spot the red jump-boosting platforms. Jump to the very top, turn around, and face the path with the +1,000 XP green speed ring. Wind up a jump long enough to reach the rooftop next to the green ring, where you will find the eighth hidden note.
• Take the road to the right when next to Freestyle Rides and Stormy Day stations in Metal City. Stick to the right side until you find a path leading upwards. Follow it along until you reach the blue chao billboard, behind which is the ninth hidden musical note.
• With the Custom Machine and Upgrader stations to your left in City Escape, follow the pathway until you reach the city roads. Turn left at the crossroads and take the next right, following the tram line. Enter the alleyway to the left immediately afterward to find the penultimate music note.
• Lastly, the note in the Space Colony Ark is on top of a few crates next to the tower in lava.

With these notes in your inventory, you will unlock the unique Guitar Hoverboard.

To help Team Silver win, here are the missions that you must complete:

• Complete 10 Races to get the Cyberspace 4-2:Ephemeral track from Sonic Frontiers.
• Collect 200 Sky Rings in Emerald Hill to receive the Cyberspace 3-4:Constructure track from Sonic Frontiers.
• Collect 50,000 Steps by running to get the Justice Park - Avenue track from Sonic Forces.

Upon completing all three missions, you will receive Rockstar Silver as a playable character.

• Collect 300 Music Sheets to obtain the Kick The Rock - Wild Canyon track from Sonic Adventure 2.

• Inflict 10,000,000 Damage to Dr Eggman for the Space Trip Steps - Meteor Herd track from Sonic Adventure 2.
