Tower Defense Simulator (TDS) tasks you with defending your home base by placing towers along a defined path and destroying all approaching enemies. On October 2, 2024, the game was upgraded to version 1.34.0 as a precursor to the updates for the upcoming Halloween season. The new alterations and additions to the game include Stickers, a revamped emote wheel, balance updates, and more.
Let’s go over everything you need to know about the latest patch for TDS.
Everything new in Tower Defense Simulator v1.34.0
Stickers and revamped emote wheel
The primary new addition to Tower Defense Simulator with version 1.34.0 is the Stickers feature. This mechanic allows you to use premade 2D graphics to express yourself in the lobby or multiplayer mode. You can select the desired Sticker from a predefined selection, which will be expanded with future updates.
Stickers can be equipped and accessed in the game using V on your keyboard. To use one your mouse, move the cursor to the desired Sticker. Note that you can use any Sticker without having to equip it; equipping one simply causes the chosen Sticker to appear first.
In a similar vein, the emote wheel has been improved to allow the usage of any emote in the lobby and in-game. The emote wheel now displays your avatar’s equipped clothing, accessories, and UGCs. Furthermore, it has been adjusted to be smoother and more responsive, making it a breeze to use.

Slasher returns, Easy mode tweaks, and other changes
The 2019 Halloween event-exclusive tower, Slasher, makes a return to TDS with version 1.34.0. This unit will be on sale until October 9, 2024, after which it is set to be revamped. Accompanying the revamp will be more skins and cosmetic features, updating the character to modern TDS standards.
For newcomers, the Easy mode has received adjustments. This includes the Grave Digger boss, the HP pool of which was reduced from 20,000 to 17,500. This adjustment has been made to balance the boss further after it was buffed in the previous patch to be more challenging.
Other changes include adjustments to the Party UI, which has been made to be more accessible and efficient. Additionally, a bug with the monthly leaderboard has been fixed, enabling the leaderboard to expire at the appropriate time when the month ends.
