The collaboration with Make a Cake brings a map from the game to Tower Heroes: the Shaping Station. This creates a simple but interesting path for your Towers to defend, where the enemies pour in from the furnace and attempt to attack the Giant Noob. Your objective is to defeat the enemies before they can harm the Giant Noob.

In true Tower Defense fashion, you will be tackling waves upon waves of enemies while upgrading your units. The number of waves and boss types you face depends on the chosen difficulty, allowing you to modulate the difficulty based on your Tower roster. Picking the Easy, Medium, and Hard modes pits you against 25, 35, and 40 enemy waves, respectively.

Upon winning, you will receive Heroic skins, Coins, and stage modifiers.

How to clear Cake Factory

Clearing the Cake Factory stage can be difficult mainly due to the bosses featured from Wave 15 onwards. Even the first boss, Gertrude, can quickly pierce through your defenses, earning you a swift loss. Because of their incredibly destructive potential, it’s important to be vigilant of the enemies and their advance.

One of the first things to keep in mind is to be careful with the Auto-Skip mechanic. If the Auto-Skip goes to the next wave while the Towers struggle to beat the current one, you will be met with a quick game-over. This can be particularly devastating if you’ve cleared 30+ waves on the Hard mode and are battling one of the tougher bosses.

While the earlier waves are not as aggressive as the later ones, they are important nonetheless. How many of your units you manage to upgrade and place during the first 14 or so waves can define the remainder of the run. It is recommended to focus on your mana count as much as possible to upgrade your Towers and bring them closer to their final forms.

The best setup for Cake Factory is to use a team with a damage dealer, a status effect specialist, a supporter, a healer, and a tank. This is particularly applicable to Hard mode, where the enemies are at their most fearsome. The idea is to use status effects like Stun to halt faster enemies’ advances while your main damage dealer decimates them.

A sample team that can beat this stage includes the following units:

  • Oddport as the close-range damage dealer.
  • Maitake as the designated healer.
  • Kart Kid as a pseudo-tank that deals damage and briefly becomes invincible.
  • Discount Dog as the support unit that increases Hero limit while decreasing upgrade cost.
  • Byte as the status effect specialist that Stuns the enemies within its range.

Due to the somewhat random nature of the enemies and certain boss abilities, it can take a few tries to beat the stage without any help. Consider playing with a friend to help you out with a setup that synergizes well with yours.
