Weak Legacy 2 makes you choose between Demons and Slayers to inhabit a world inspired by the famed animanga series, Demon Slayer. It features multiple races that offer buffs in a myriad of situations, making them capable of handling combat encounters in a radically different way. You must choose between these races fairly early on, which makes this decision rather significant.
Here’s what you need to know about the races featured in Weak Legacy 2 and how you can get them.
The different races in Weak Legacy 2
The game features three unique races that differ on a fundamental level: Humans, Demons, and Hybrids. Humans are the starting race forming the baseline for the game. They can opt to become a Demon and serve the Demon Monarch or join the Demon Slayer Corps and become a Slayer instead.
Demon Slayers represent humans who have trained rigorously for the sole purpose of eliminating Demons from the face of the world. Slayers can learn special techniques known as Breathing Styles, which channel a specific element to deal damage to the enemy. They use a sword-based fighting style as their normal attack moveset, interspersed with Breathing Style super moves.
As you progress through the game, you will eventually join the Demon Slayer Corps, inducting you into the role of a Demon Slayer. However, if you choose so, you can join the Demons by speaking to the NPC called Douma in the Snow Biome. Pay the demonic representative 1,000 Yen and you will become a Demon, ready to take over the world for the Demon King/Queen.
The demonic counterparts to Breathing Styles are Blood Demon Arts, which are destructive abilities that rend the enemy’s HP with ease. Like Breathing Styles, Blood Demon Arts can be used in combos as combo starters or enders, making them rather flexible in combat.
Perhaps the potential to be the most dangerous in combat belongs to the Hybrids, a currently in-development race that is a combination of Demons and Slayers. In the source material, they are Demons who can use Breathing styles and Blood Demon Arts, making them doubly as threatening. This race will eventually be added to the game in a future update.

Resetting your race in Weak Legacy 2
Even if you’ve progressed quite far on the quest path for a Demon or a Slayer, you can reset your race and go back to square one. Simply interact with the Reset Race NPC to do so, who spawns next to the Second Set Respawn Point NPC in the Little Village.
Note that you must pay the Reset Race NPC 40 Robux to reset your race. The only way to obtain race resets is with codes, which are limited in number. Furthermore, codes are only updated once in a while, making these resets a rarity.
So, we recommend using your race resets judiciously to avoid any post-switch regrets.
