It alters moves and gives unique properties and stat buffs. For instance, a Visored’s version of the Pulse move from the Hakuda skill tree has homing properties, instantly amplifying its combat utility.
Moreover, 20% extra HP is gained when the player dons the Visored Mask. Owing to such significant buffs, the Visored class is always a threat to the enemy on the battlefield. Their bulk is high enough to keep them from being felled quickly in battle, with their damage devastating enough to cut through enemy defenses like butter.

Becoming a Visored in Type Soul
You can become a Vizard by completing three tasks: collect 10 Hogyoku fragments, defeat the boss at Hueco Mundo, and complete the objective specified by the whispers. Here’s how you can complete all three of these missions:
Step 1: Collect 10 Hogyoku Fragments
The first step to becoming a Visored is to get your hands on Hogyoku Fragments. There are four main sources of this precious item: Clan Wars, Faction Raids, PvP duels, and Trading. Each method has a small chance of dropping these fragments, but the grind-intensive nature makes picking your option wisely important.
If you can find people willing to trade the Hogyoku fragments, the Trading method is the best of the four. Alternatively, you can rely on Clan Wars for a chance at the fragments and various other rewards.
Step 2: Defeat the boss at Hueco Mundo
With the first step completed, teleport to Hueco Mundo to duke it out with the unique area boss. Its location is random, so search around a little to find it. Once you locate it, initiate combat and prevail in the duel against the boss. Feel free to bring in a few friends to take it down if your avatar is not strong enough.
Upon death, the boss will drop a special Visored mask you must put on to learn your next objective.
Step 3: Becoming a Visored
On donning the Visored mask, some text will float on your screen, beckoning you to a particular location for the next task. This task can be one of three objectives, and completing it will turn you into a Standard Visored warrior.
The whispers will demand you to perform one of the following tasks:
- Kill 200 Soul Reapers (NPCs and players count)
- Complete any 10 Raids
- Kill Vizard Shikai in the Shikai world.
The last of these is the rarest and the most difficult one that puts you in a mirror match. Defeat your shadow self and prevail in battle to become a Visored. With that, you will have access to all the powerful abilities and skills specific to the class.
Note: To become a True Visored, consider using a True Hogyoku Fragment before completing the quests listed in this section. These Fragments are exceedingly rare, with a drop rate of 0.05% across every fragment obtainment method. But it will transform you into a more powerful version of the Visored, giving you access to unique buffs.
