Your Bizarre Adventure update 1.58

Your Bizarre Adventure is a Roblox fighting experience based on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, featuring many iconic abilities and characters from the series. This experience was updated to version 1.58 on September 27, 2024, adding new ways to battle your opponents in this bizarre adventure. Alongside new fighting styles, the update includes a new Hamon Trainer, a lengthy list of balance changes, and various bug fixes.

This article goes over every addition and change made to Your Bizarre Adventure with Update 1.58.

Everything new in Your Bizarre Adventure update 1.58

New fighting styles, fighting style reworks, and Hamon Trainer

Update 1.58 brings three new fighting styles based on iconic characters from parts 1 and 2 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. These include Hamon (Joseph Joestar), Hamon (Caesar Zeppeli), and Hamon (William Zeppeli). You can obtain Caesar Zeppeli’s version of Hamon by obtaining Caesar’s Headband item.

Each of these styles can be obtained by speaking to the new Hamon Trainer, Lisa Lisa, near the fountain outside the Arcade. Lisa Lisa can also teach you every variation of the Hamon fighting style, so make sure to interact with her.

Not only does she teach various fighting styles but you can also obtain two new Fighting Style Obtainment items: Zeppeli’s Hat and Clackers. Furthermore, you can give her an Ancient Scroll to learn Jonathan Joestar’s version of the Hamon fighting style.

The following changes were made to fighting styles as a part of the mechanic’s rework:

Boxing, Sword-Style, Hamon (Jonathan Joestar), Vampirism, and Spin were overhauled.
New skill trees were added.
All fighting style abilities underwent balance changes.
Blood Bottles can no longer be obtained.

Changes, balance updates, and fixes

Listed below are all system-wide changes made to Your Bizarre Adventure with Update 1.58

All skill trees were reset.
Screenshake can be toggled on and off in the Settings.
M1 stun value has been adjusted to be a static number.
Screen capture has been disabled to prevent accidental activation.
Layered clothing and avatar bundles have been disabled to tighten up the hitboxes.
Adjusted Dino Army dust cloud VFX to prevent lag.

A myriad of balance changes were also made with the new update, which include the following:

M1 combos are only guaranteed to hit for the first two hits, after which it is possible to break out of them.
Adjusted Dino Minions to prevent them from attacking immediately after spawning. Now, they begin their assault one second after spawning.
Blindness duration does not increase as much for Vision Plunder with Plundering upgrades.
Vision Plunder projectile speed increased slightly with Plundering upgrades.
Go Beyond will no longer track the target automatically.
Go Beyond does not bypass i-frames.
Go Beyond hitbox has been adjusted to explode only on direct hits.
Go Beyond’s windup has been reduced by 50%.
Go Beyond’s projectile speed has been increased by 50%.
Bubble Generation cooldown increased by 5 seconds.
Bubble Generation’s maximum healing amount has been decreased from 40 to 30.
Bubble Generation height and speed when lifting you increased by 50%.
Bubble Generation bubble has been adjusted to support using abilities.
White Album’s stand barrage range matches that of a humanoid stand.
Increased Ice Sweep’s windup by 0.2 seconds.
Decreased Ice Sweep’s damage from 15 to 12 per sweep.
Reduced damage dealt by Flash Freeze, Ice Punch, and Ice Swipe.
Flash Freeze windup increased by 0.3 seconds.
Targets frozen by Ice Swipe will now ragdoll when hit.
Decreased the healing amount of Self Distribution by 40%.
Summon Life Form can now be canceled and has a windup.
Life Beam of Creation can now be canceled and has a windup.
Increased Life Beam of Creation cooldown to 18 seconds.
Summon Tree now has an end lag of 0.5 seconds.
Return to Zero now has an end lag of 0.5 seconds.
Gold Experience Requiem’s awakening will no longer increase jump height or heal.
Reduced cooldown of Nullification: Zero to 30 seconds.
Damage dealt by The World Over Heaven can now be improved with Hamon Punch upgrades.
Lethal Tempo can no longer buff Silver Chariot and Anubis.
Lethal Tempo stacks are no longer possible for Silver Chariot and Anubis.

Lastly, here are a few fixes made to the game with patch 1.58:

EU West servers in the 1v1 game mode have been fixed.
Fixed an issue where the first person to join the 1v1 queue would not load properly.
Fixed the infinite loading screens caused by a partner leaving early during the win screen in 2v2 game modes.
Resolved a bug where M1 combos would not register as punches.
Stone Mask usage in game modes has been addressed.
Addressed an issue where the player would lose held items when using a Stone Mask.
Fixed a bug where Blessing of Sparks caused unexpected flinging.
Fixed an issue where Blessing of Sparks could receive benefits from the Destructive Power skill tree.
Solved an issue that caused anti-cheat systems to kick players who die during Universe Reset.
Eliminated spots in SBR that caused the player to be teleported out of the map.
Fixed issues with the text disappearing in long dialogue sequences.
Fixed an issue that caused Giorno’s model to be missing pants.
