Zombies Vs Humans is a PvP survival game that divides players into two groups: Zombies and Humans. This Roblox experience is about surviving the night as a Human or killing every Human as a Zombie. The title draws inspiration from Minecraft, giving you the tools needed to build and destroy any player-made constructs.

Here’s a guide to the basics of Zombies Vs Human and its fundamental mechanics.

Zombies Vs Humans is, at its core, an asymmetrical survival Roblox experience with Minecraft-inspired aesthetics. As the title suggests, the game is about Zombies and Humans duking it out to see which group can prevail in their respective tasks. The Zombies seek to eliminate all Humans, while the Humans attempt to survive the night.

Zombies Vs Humans is divided into two halves: the Build phase and the Night phase. The Build phase has all players on the server try to create a shelter to defend themselves from the Zombies. Lasting five minutes, this phase lets you flex your creative prowess to build the most formidable fortress possible.

Once the Build phase is over, the Night falls, and a few players are randomly selected to be the Zombies. Movement aside, the Zombies are only capable of one thing: exploding. Their explosions have a wide radius and can catch any unwitting Humans rather easily. This is a high-risk maneuver since the explosion also causes the exploded Zombie to die and be sent back to the spawn point.

However, should a Human fall to a Zombie, they will be turned into one, bolstering the opposing team’s numbers. If all players have been turned into Zombies, the monstrous team will win. That said, if the Zombies fail to kill every Human, the Humans will secure the win instead.

The winning team receives Money and EXP, allowing the participating players to level up and purchase items from the in-game shop.

  • Humans and Zombies: The two main groups in this game are Humans and Zombies, whose objectives are at complete odds with each other. At the beginning of the Night phase, Humans will always be more in number than the Zombies. That said, death is permanent for Humans, while it is only a mild inconvenience for the undead. Death turns Humans into Zombies, while the undead walkers simply respawn to explode another time. This creates an interesting dynamic between the two groups where, despite their larger numbers, Humans are at a clear disadvantage. For this reason, teamwork is all but essential for Humans since it is easier to trick and outmaneuver the handful of Zombies as a collective.
  • Build Phase: The Build Phase is one half of the game, where you and other players collaborate to make a defensible fortress. Since no player knows whether they will be chosen to be a Zombie or not, it’s in everyone’s best interests to make the best fortress. The structural integrity of a structure is directly dependent on the chosen building block, which can be purchased from the in-game shop. This phase lasts five minutes, giving all players some time to come up with something formidable.
  • The Night: The Night is where the PvP aspect of the game kicks in, during which the Humans must do what they can to keep the Zombies away. This can entail engaging them in direct combat or simply running away. In contrast, the Zombies have a single opportunity per death to explode themselves in a Human’s vicinity. This usually takes off about 70-80% of the target’s HP while killing the undead walker instantly. With well-timed explosions, two Zombies may kill a Human instantly, adding the target to their ranks. Like the Build phase, the Night lasts for five minutes before the winner is decided.
  • Levels and the Shop: Killing a player grants you EXP and Money, both of which are essential to this game’s progression system. EXP lets you level up and unlock new items in the Shop, while Money is the currency required to obtain said items. The more you play the game, the better your options will be, improving your chances of success as either player group. You may also purchase various premium items like TNT Rain that can tip the scales in your favor. Of course, this entails using precious Robux for a one-time purchase. Note that anything you purchase from the shop will not be carried over if you leave the game.
