Brandon Loschiavo, born on May 31, 1997, is an American Springboard Diver from Huntington Beach, California. He began diving at the age of 12 and also has a background in gymnastics. Brandon qualified to represent Team USA in the Men's 10m Platform event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Despite finishing second at the U.S. Olympic Trials, he was not initially guaranteed a spot on the Olympic team. However, a last-minute athlete withdrawal led to the U.S. being awarded a quota spot, allowing Brandon to join the U.S. Olympic Diving Team.
In collegiate and national achievements, Brandon qualified for the NCAA Championships in all three diving events, finishing on the 4th platform at NCAAs after winning a bronze medal in the event at the Big Ten Championships. He teamed with Steele Johnson to win the 10m synchro title at the USA Diving Synchronized National Championships.
At the FINA World Championships, Brandon finished sixth with Johnson in 10m synchro. He also placed sixth on 1m and won the consolation final of 3m at Big Tens, contributing 71 points and ranking second on the team. His season-best scores were 467.45 on platform at NCAAs, 398.30 on 1m, and 450.75 on 3m at Big Tens. He also took third on the platform at USA Diving's World Championships Trials and was victorious on 3m in the season-opening dual vs. Miami (Ohio).
Brandon finished as the runner-up in 10m and synchronized 10m at the 2014 USA Diving Winter Nationals and was a multiple-time Junior Nationals finalist. He was victorious in individual and synchronized 10m finals at USA Diving Zone meets in 2014 and won from the platform at the 2015 Rose Bowl Diving Invitational. He competed in the 2015 FINA Diving Grand Prix meet in Leon, Mexico, and was victorious on the platform and runner-up on 3m in the 16-18 age group at the Greg Louganis Southern California Invitational. Brandon won the 2011 and 2012 AAU 3m national titles as a 14- and 15-year-old while competing for the McCormick Divers club, and also won titles at meets like the Chris Vonk Memorial Invitational, Crown Valley Divers Invitational, Lee Brennan Memorial Invitational, and Glenn McCormick Memorial Invitational.
