Chase Kalisz Medals

Chase Tyler Kalisz, commonly known as "Killer Kalisz," is an American swimmer specializing in individual medley events. He was born on March 7, 1994, in Bel Air, Maryland, he stands tall at 1.93 meters (6 feet 4 inches) and weighs 86 kilograms (190 pounds). Representing the United States, Kalisz competes in swimming disciplines including breaststroke, butterfly, and medley.

Chase Kalisz trains under coach Bob Bowman at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club and began swimming at the age of 5. He gained early recognition with standout performances at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, where he narrowly missed making the Olympic team but later dominated at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships. His career highlights include victories in the 400m IM and 200m IM at various national and international meets.

Chase Kalisz Medals

Chase Kalisz, representing the United States in men's swimming, has achieved an impressive array of medals throughout his career. At the Olympic Games, he won one gold medal in the 400m individual medley at Tokyo 2020 and one silver medal in the same event at Rio de Janeiro 2016. In World Championships (LC), Kalisz has secured two gold medals (200m and 400m individual medley in Budapest 2017), one silver medal (400m individual medley in Barcelona 2013), and three bronze medals (400m individual medley in Kazan 2015, 200m individual medley in Gwangju 2019, and 400m individual medley in Budapest 2022).

At the Pan Pacific Championships, he claimed two gold medals (200m and 400m individual medley in Tokyo 2018) and one bronze medal (400m individual medley in Gold Coast 2014). His achievements also include gold medals at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in 2012 for both the 200m and 400m individual medley events, along with a silver medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay.

Chase Kalisz holds several records in long course meters (50 m pool) across various events. He set a time of 1:01.64 in the 100 m breaststroke at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus, Ohio, on July 8, 2018. He matched this time again at the 2022 TYR Pro Swim Series in San Antonio, Texas, on March 31, 2022. In the 200 m breaststroke, he recorded a time of 2:09.90 at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 17, 2018.

He achieved a time of 53.52 in the 100 m butterfly at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus, Ohio, on July 6, 2018. Kalisz set a time of 1:54.79 in the 200 m butterfly at the 2017 National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 27, 2017. He recorded a time of 1:55.40 in the 200 m individual medley at the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo, Japan, on August 11, 2018. His record for the 400 m individual medley is 4:05.90, set at the 2017 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on July 30, 2017.
