Chris Guiliano is a professional swimmer from the United States. He was born on June 25, 2003, in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. Before starting swimming at the age of 8, Guiliano was involved in playing soccer and football. After attending Daniel Boone High School in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, he enrolled at Notre Dame University in Indiana, where he trained under the mentorship of head swimming coach Chris Lindauer. He also majors in economics with a minor in computing and digital technologies.
The 2024 Olympics gold medalist joined the United States national team in 2023 and competed in the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, winning bronze in the men's 4×100m freestyle relay and silver in the mixed 4×100m freestyle relay. At the 2023 U.S. Open, he also won bronze in the 100-metre freestyle. Later, he qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics by competing in the Olympic Trials and will compete for the United States in three distinct competitions (50, 100, and 200 metre freestyle) as well as two relays (4x100 and 4x200 metre freestyle).
