Chris Guilianois is a professional swimmer born on June 25, 2003, and hails from Douglassville, Pennsylvania, United States. He went to Daniel Boone High School and is now studying at the University of Notre Dame. Aside from participating in swimming at the age of 8, he played soccer and football. Chris captained his university swim team during his senior year and was the MVP that season, a feat he has always won since his freshman season. At Notre Dame, he majored in economics with a minor in computing and digital technologies. He was also on the TOPS swimming club team.

Chris will be a part of the Team USA swim team qualifying for the Olympics for the very first time. This amazing feat at the 100-meter freestyle event saw him swim past Caleb Dressel, the defending champion, and Jack Alexy with a swim time of 47.25s. Caleb and Jack swam a finishing time of 47.53s and 47.47s, respectively.

During his time at Notre Dame, Chris participated in various NCAA tournaments but only got one medal prize. He won the bronze in the 200 free and came in fourth and fifth in the 50 and 100 free events. In 2024, he won gold medals in the 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle events at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships. Chris Guiliano became the ACC Swimmer of the Year and the MVP as well. He was on the 4 x 100 relay Irish team that won the gold.

The three-time high school All-American also got a mention on the All-State first team in the 2019–20 season. In the 50, 100, and 200-yard freestyles and the 50 and 100-meter freestyle events, Chris has broken all the school records. Chris beats his personal best record of 1:48.75 in the 20-meter freestyle event at the U.S. Olympics trials in Indianapolis. Despite being seeded 26th, he won a silver medal-worthy time of 1:45.38.

Chris Guiliano became active on the Team USA national roster in 2023. He participated at the U.S. Open in the 100-meter freestyle event, winning the bronze medal. He also took part in the World Aquatics Championships, winning medals in the men’s 4×100m freestyle relay and mixed 4×100m freestyle relay events. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he will take part in five events: 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle,200m freestyle, 4x100m freestyle relay, and the 4x200m freestyle relay.
