Born on June 12, 2004, in Bondoufle, a suburb of Paris, Arthur Fils started playing tennis at age five, with his father, whom he worked with until age 12. As a junior, he won the 2021 French Open boys’ doubles title and finished runner-up in boys’ singles. He reached his highest junior ranking of No. 3 in July 2021.
