Brandon Nakashima is an American professional tennis player born on August 3, 2001, in San Diego, California, United States. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of No. 40 in September 2024 and career-high doubles ranking of No. 240 in June 2024. Nakashima has won one ATP singles title in his career so far - the 2022 San Diego Open - where he defeated Marcos Giron in the final. He also won the 2022 Next Generation ATP Finals, defeating Jack Draper in the semifinals and Jiri Lehecka in the final.

Nicknamed B-Nak, Nakashima began playing tennis at three with his grandfather in a local park. He completed his schooling at High Bluff Academy in San Diego. After that, he joined the University of Virginia in January 2019, where he played college tennis for a year. At the end of the season, he received ACC-Freshman of the Year and All-ACC First Team awards. After just one season in college, he decides to turn professional. Nakashima made his ATP tour debut at the 2020 Delray Beach Open and reached the quarterfinal. He made his Grand Slam debut at the 2020 US Open, losing to eventual runner-up Alexander Zverev in the second round.
